But just in case you've never played it before (play it now!) this game was revolutionary because of both its technical prowess and its amazing game design by a team of supremely talented developers at id Software. Get it now, even if you've already played it. Even today, with increasingly sophisticated 3D action games DOOM's gameplay is classic. And for good reason! I admit, it scared the hell outta me when I first played it.
